Discover the story behind Bama Bed & Breakfast, the people who care for this historic Tuscaloosa property, and the Southern hospitality they bring to every stay and celebration.
After nearly three decades as educators, Marc and Kim Roberts set out on a new adventure driven by their love of serving others. Whether you're visiting for a football weekend, a campus tour, or a peaceful getaway, Marc and Kim are dedicated to offering exceptional hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and personalized service that makes every stay memorable.
Today, they proudly welcome guests to Bama Lakeside Retreat and their collection of game-day rentals, creating experiences that keep visitors coming back year after year.

Even after facing tornadoes, fires, and countless challenges, Marc and Kim never lost their passion for welcoming others into their home. Over the years, they opened their doors to Hurricane Katrina evacuees, international visitors through The University of Alabama, and guests from all walks of life. Those experiences, along with a memorable family stay at a bed & breakfast in Hawaii, inspired them to create a place where every guest feels at home.
Today, Bama B&B is truly a family business. Their children each contribute in meaningful ways, from managing operations and marketing to helping prepare breakfast and care for guests. Kim's parents even bake the homemade cookies that have become a favorite treat for visitors.
